Trinity River Hiking/Biking Trails

On the banks of the Trinity River is a dedicated, paved hike/bike trail over 100 miles long that is accessed by a string of 36 city parks. These parks have 16 playgrounds and 21 picnic areas (with 21 restrooms). The trail that connects these parks is over 90% complete, with the remaining segments scheduled for completion in 2025. Ride or hike this trail and see the beauty of the river on one side and often the skyline of a major city on the other side. As you might imagine, there is a lot of family fun to enjoy in these parks and on the trail between the parks. All of these parks and the hiking/biking trails are within about 20 miles of the DFW International Airport.
