Trinity River Nature Centers
On the banks of the Trinity River are 14 nature centers, each with its own kaleidoscope for viewing nature. These nature centers come in the following types:
Aquarium
Flower Garden
State Park
Zoo
Horse Park
Ziplines

The nature parks and the state park are meccas for nature-lovers, containing a total of almost 70 miles of hiking trails within a total of over 9,000 acres of nature. (As an indicator of scale, New York’s Central Park is about 850 acres.)
All of these nature centers are within about 20 miles of the DFW International Airport.
